Major Dwayne Williams ~ The Memorials


Major Dwayne Williams was buried in Arlington National Cemetery, in Section 64, in the shadows of the Pentagon, where he lost his life.

The first monument erected in memory of an individual lost on September Eleventh, was erected in Major Dwayne Williams hometown of Jacksonville, Alabama on September 11, 2002.

Oh, this is close to home. I didn't know this. My son went to Jacksonville State. I had no idea that was there.

You have done a wonderful memorial to Dwayne, brought tears to my eyes. Over here in England we are remembering to and I have also taken part in the 2996 project and have posted my tribute.

It is so touching that the whole of the journals community wherever our blogs are, have come together in this cause.
